Liiton Kevätleiri järjestetään Turussa perjantai-sunnuntai 25.-27.4.2025, tule mukaan!

Leirin päätteeksi järjestetään kendon graduoinnit 6.-1. kyu ja 1.-4. dan.

Leirillä on kiinnitetty erityistä huomiota junioreihin. Junioreille sisältyy lattiamajoitus seminaarimaksuun, ja heille on oma ohjelmansa sayonara-juhlaan. Leirillä Jarno “Jasu” Redsven huolehtii junioreista ja varmistaa, että kaikki sujuu hyvin koko seminaarin ajan. Milloin: Lauantaina 25. huhtikuuta klo 18:30 alkaen.

Sauna sijaitsee 1 km päässä leiripaikalta, noin 15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Ota mukaan omat juomat, ruoka ja pyyhe saunaa varten. Ruokaa voi myös tilata esimerkiksi Woltin kautta.

Graduoinnit

Sunnuntain leiripäivän päätteeksi järjestetään kyu- ja dan-graduoinnit.

Suomen Kendoliiton jäsenet

Suomen Kendoliiton jäsenet suorittavat graduointeihin liittyvän ilmoittautumisen ja maksut Suomisport-palvelussa.

Onnistuneen dan-graduoinnin jälkeen osallistujan on maksettava rekisteröintimaksu ennen kuin hän saa virallisen graduointitodistuksen. Maksu voidaan suorittaa Suomisportissa tai käteisellä paikan päällä.

Graduointilisenssikoulutus

Leirin yhteydessä osallistujat voivat suorittaa graduointilisenssin, joka oikeuttaa osallistumaan kyu-tason kendograduointiraateihin.

Lisenssin voivat saada 18 vuotta täyttäneet ohjaajat, joilla on 1.–3. danin vyöarvo.

Lisenssin saamiseksi osallistujan on osallistuttava lyhyeen luentoon Suomen Kendoliiton kyu-graduointisäännöistä (suomeksi) lauantain lounastauolla sekä seurattava sunnuntain graduointeja. Leirin graduointiin osallistuvat eivät voi suorittaa lisenssiä.

Graduointilisenssin suorittaminen on maksutonta: Ilmoittaudu koulutukseen.

FKA Spring Seminar 2025

The Spring Seminar of the Finnish Kendo Association will be held in Turku on Friday to Sunday 25.-27.4.2025! The seminar is for all kendokas, regardless of level.

After the seminar gradings in kendo will be organised from 6.-1. kyu and 1.-4. dan.

Special attention is paid to junior trainees at the seminar. Floor accomodation is included in the seminar fee for juniors and they have their own program for the sayonara party. Jarno “Jasu” Redsven, takes care of the juniors and make sure they have everything in order throughout the seminar. The hall is in seminar’s use all weekend, so it is possible to leave equipment at the venue.

Floor accomodation at Tanssistudio All-Star

The accommodation is located on the upper floor of the train station building. Entrance through a back door (railway side). This accomodation is included in the seminar fee for juniors. The accommodation is available:

It’s floor accommodation, so bring your own sleeping pad and sleeping bag. Bus no. 61 will take you to the venue from the bus stop Paasirinne, which is located on the other side of the railway tracks (cross the bridge for pedestrians to get to the bus stop). If you arrive on Friday, you can leave your luggage at the accommodation during the day.

For those who arrive by car, we do not recommend parking directly at the train station. There are some parking spots along the streets across from the trains station (Humalistonkatu, Käsityöläiskatu, Läntinen Pitkäkatu).

Sauna is located 1 km away from the venue, 15 minute walk. Bring your own beverage, food and towel for the sauna. You can order food by Wolt etc.

Gradings

At the end of the seminar on Sunday there will be Kyu and Dan gradings in kendo.

Members of the Finnish Kendo Association complete their registration and payments for gradings in Suomisport:

After a successful Dan grading, candidates are required to pay a registration fee, which must be settled before the candidate is awarded the grading diploma. The payment can be made in Suomisport or by cash on-site:

Graduation License Training

At the Seminar, FKA members can obtain a graduation license, which permits them to participate in kyu-level kendo examination panels. These licenses are available to instructors aged 18 and older who hold a rank of 1st to 3rd dan.

To earn the license, attendees must participate in a short lecture on the FKA’s kyu graduation rules (in Finnish) during Saturday’s lunch break and observe the graduations on Sunday. The license cannot be obtained by those participating in the graduation at the Seminar.
